Pandora ♥

I've always wanted to have my own Pandora bracelet since I've known about the product a lot of months ago. I've imagined myself collecting charms - one charm representing every significant event / moments in my life. But! A Pandora bracelet is too pricey I must say. If you are practical, a bracelet that costs 4,000-5,000 alone is too much. Well, at least for me who isn't a fan of jewelry ever since because you know, I am not that fancy girly girly type of girl.

Some weeks ago, I am being haunted by this Pandora bracelet since I am seeing these everywhere. I kept on bugging my beb that I want one BUT I dont want me or him to buy kasi its too expensive for me. I would rather buy sneakers or bags or anything that is usable on a daily basis. Pero sabi nga nya, minsan, kailangan sundin yung luho, minsan lang naman. Hehehe. So, yeap. You guessed it right - He got me one as his Christmas present for me! Kasi lahat daw ng worth it, mahal - tulad ko. Hahaha. Joke lang. Here it issss!

A collier with a heart clasp ♥ ♥ ♥

And! for my first charm, I got an Alphabet charm - a letter G charm which symbolizes well obviously, my name - Gia. Coincidentally, it is also my mom's initial so yeah. ☺

Haaay. I am so happy (and proud hahaha shempre) for this gift! Beyond the bracelet, I am happy knowing that someone out there is willing to work hard to give me everything that will make me happy. Hindi man material beb, YOU are ENOUGH for me. Your love, your kindness, your sacrifices. Hayy. I am very thankful for the Lord for giving me you - and this bracelet of course hehehe.ü I will fill this with charms that represents me and you and all the happenings in our lives! Weeheee! Happy collecting and thanks beb for spoiling me. Hehe.ü I love you!

Btw, he got speakers as his Christmas present from me. Quits naman kasi we are equally happy! :p

Xo,

Gia

PHOTOGRAPHY 101

Just so you know, everything is 101 in my life. Hahaha. I like trying different things, mostly at the same time. I am always giddy in trying out new stuff! I remember my "About" info on my old college blog saying "i don't like going to the same place everyday, seeing the same people, doing the same things." well I guess that explains what I am doing right now. Lol.

I am no pro in photography. I swear. I just take pictures of everything that I see. I just realize at the end of the day that one shot stands out from the rest. Here are some of my favorite photos to date.

Pictures taken using my XPERIA P (LT22i) and Sony DSC TF1 :) Manipulated using Snapseed. I just bought this Afterlight app, I'm gonna try it out next time. :)

E S C A P E

I've been (again) pre-occupied by a lot of things lately. But, I have no idea of what made me busy these past few weeks.

Here I am again, contemplating with everything that’s going on with my life. I want to talk with someone who can guide me, open my eyes and make me realize the right and wrongs. I know people who can make me realize such things but I am too lazy to talk about it. Hence, I am writing it all down here. (I’m giving away how bizarre my mind is.)

-          I am thinking of quitting my day job. Reasons are as follows:
·         It consumes most of my time
·         Growth. My current company has promised me too much in the beginning. Now, what?
·         There’s this hidden job market, which I want to explore.
·         I am no longer happy.
-          Calligraphy. I want to study calligraphy and do invitations, signage, and etcetera. I used to do lettering when I was a teenager, not to brag but I am good at it! I wonder why I lost my interest. But hey, it has found its way back to me!
-          Cook and bake. I used to cook, but now that I am occupied by this 8am to 6pm work, I can no longer find time to. It makes me sad, really. I also want to learn how to bake.
-          Bike. I am currently selling my foldable bike, to have an additional moolah, because I am planning to buy a new MTB. Not only that I want to join the boyfriend in his biking trips, but it also makes me happy.
-          I want to T R A V E L.

See, there’s too much in my list. I want to do a lot of things but I don’t have the time. I don’t know, maybe also the drive to do these things?

God has blessed me with whatever I have now, I shouldn’t be complaining with things because others don’t even have this and that, I know. I am aware of His blessings and I am thankful for those.
But, I am also aware that there is this thin line lying between the things that hold you from doing something and your happiness. And I am willing to take a risk, to go over that line.

With all the pieces of my heart,

Calligraphy 101

I found an old pen. I felt inspired. Here's the aftermath. (Scanned. Not photographed. Crappy tuloy. :'()

With effort.

Regular hand writing. :p

 Moooore practice! :D

First Timer

One of the things that is in my bucket list is to ride my bike, from home to UP Diliman, and this morning, I've already checked that item on my virtual checklist!

5:30a.m., the boyfriend texted me that he's on his way going to our house. He'll drop by here so that we can go biking together. Around 7:00a.m., he called me to wake me up and to open the gate, so I went out of bed, opened the gate, I ate breakfast, washed my face then we went out. We left our house around 7:30a.m.

 HOLY COW.
All the while, I thought that biking was easy. I proved myself wrong. Haha. We are coming from West Avenue, Halfway going to UP Diliman, I got off my bike to call the crows. Haha. I felt nauseous then I vomited!!! Guess where? Sa EDSA lang naman! Hahahahaha.

Few more kms then we're already at UPD, a lot of struggles to reach our destination, buses, jeepneys, heat, dehydration... After some minutes, we got inside the UP! Hay, super worth the pagod seeing other bikers, joggers, families bonding. Very far from the highway scenery that we first encountered.

Rappy got me some gatorade, to replenish all the sweat.

Here's his bike, hehe. Fixed gear! He named it Jinnifer, hahaha! Then my bike is Junathan daw, err. Tripper.

Meet Junathan :p
 Rappy with the bikes!
 Aww, Hi loves. :)
Here's me, showing off my uneven skin! I dont care if I got more negra. :p

Helloooooo!

So there, after our UP, we went to Maginhawa to have our breakfast. We had Bangus, Sinangag and Egg, then a Juice, then me I had leche flan afterwerds. Haha.

To those who might be wondering, here's our route:

Going to UPD
West Avenue to Delta (Quezon Ave)
Footbridge going to the other side, then Panay Avenue
Straight ahead to McDonalds MRT Quezon Ave
Footbridge again going to Eton Centris side
Straight ahead towards QC Circle,
Right at Kalayaan then left to the first street on the left hehe then straight, you'll end up at Maginhawa (or you may just turn right to Commonwealth avenue instead of turning right to Kalayaan Ave) then UP na!

Going home, From UP, we went first to Maginhawa, Then after having the breakfast, we went at the end of Maginahawa St (Rodics) then left, then right at Maharlika St., straight ahead then you'll reach QC Circle

From Circle, turn right to North Avenue (we chose this way to avoid the crazy buses and jeepneys at Quezon Avenue) then straight lang towards SM North, then footbridge to West Avenue because EDSA is crazy! Haha!

That's all.
Until the next bike-athon!

Photobooth lovin'

Hi! We love photobooths! And unintentional matching shirt colors :p

This photo was taken last November 2013! My birth anniversary! Not birthday, I am only born once, and that was November 8, 1993! So, yearly, what we celebrate is our birth anniversary, not birth day! :p ANYWAY! (enough of explaining my point, haha) This is our first photobooth picture, believe it or not.

Then this photo was taken last night, July 4, 2014. (Hey americuh, happy 4th of July! Lol. Nakiki bati lang, why ba! Haha) Finally, after 8 months, we got a photobooth picture ageyn! Hihi, Im really giddy about this! This is one of the things that makes me excited about everything. Cutesy litol details. Hehe.

How about you, what makes you and your partner excited? Do you also love this cute little things that comes in between of the relationship? :)

Anyway, Im now up for a project, this is also photo related, I will share it once I'm finally done conceptualizing this whole thing that I am cooking. Currently, I am looking for inspiration pa on Pinterest! Heehee. So there, have a nice day, my dear reader.

With all the pixels of my heart,

Good oldies!

Last night, I recharged my old phone to check old photos, messages which would tell how we were before as a couple. By reading back those old messages, I can say whether we fell more in love with each other or if we were better before, if things have changed and/or if the feelings are still here.

Guess what. We've been occupied by a lot of things now. Before, we used to send goodnight song lyrics and goodnight cheesy messages. Now, we can rarely do that anymore. Time spent with each other are lesser now but hey, we are now a little more mature compared to our 2013 selves.

I am happy, because even though a year passed, our feelings are still here. The petty problems before that are no more, our present that's never been this good - it's always good, and to the future that only the One can tell.

Well anyway, here's a shameless 2011 photo of us I found on my old phone. Don't judge our smiles, we were happy that time, really. Hahaha!

TFIOS Date

June 6, 2014, the boyfriend and I decided to watch a film titled, "The Fault in Our Stars". It's a film adoptation of John Green's book. (a little spoiler alert!) I've read the book just weeks before watching the movie and I must say that the book is better, of course I know that not alll scenes in the book should be also done in the movie, but I just feel that the movie lack some "feels". And the ending, why did they change the ending. The last 2 words are the most important! ANYWAY, this isn't supposed to be a movie review post, so moving on...

After office, we decided to meet at Robinson's Galleria, then ate at Sushi-Ya because I was craving for sushi that time. Happily, the boyfriend agreed to eat there even though he's never a fan of Japanese food.

We had our usual kulitan, lambingan, asaran of course! Then after eating, we went to Starbucks to have some coffee for the movies. This day is also remarkable for me because I found my favorite Starbucks branch evar! Haha! The one near the Cinemas of Robinson's Galleria! The baristas are extra friendly, not that annoying friendly type of Baristas, but the friendly type which makes you stay longer at the coffee claiming area because of the awesomeness of the people there! One barista asked if the boyfriend is a rocker because of his shirt, he said that he wants to be a rocker too but he was a dancer, his group dances tribal dance and he even did a sample! Haha! Isn't Mr. Barista nice? He handed us our coffee then me and the boyfriend kept on talking about how nice that branch is and I told him that that branch is now "our" I mean "my" favorite branch. After getting the coffee, we went to movies, then I cried then we went home.

Simple date, movies, food coma, coffee, laughters and endless stories. I just love spending days with my man. I hope we still do this until we're old. <3

P.S.
Sorry for the lack of photos

Much love,

Community Service: Mangyan Tribe

June 1, 2014. Our club (well, consists of 3 person, including me! haha!) Went to Mamburao, Mindoro to extend some help to our fellow countrymen. Hehe. Echos. Kidding aside, we went there to bring some stuffs to the Mangyan children.

Ola!
The boyfriend's gorgeous feet!
Heh, Hi lavv
Their only classroom! Here is where the elementary kids study! The population is 80 students, from 1st to 6th grade.
The only teacher who molds the students. She's the only one teaching the 1st to 6th grade. Yup. Hero!
Their home.

The kiddos!
Giving them their pair of slippers. Not just for the kids, for the adults also. They don't really wear slippers. Just barefoot, while going to school, playing outside, etc. It's the first time for some of them to have their pair of slippers.
Excited for their first pair of slippers! ;) Its just so heartbreaking to know that after we gave them slippers, some of them removed if from their feet and kept it. They don't want their slippers to be worn out fast because they're saving it for the rainy season.
Another thing that they need the most are clothes! We only brought one bag of used (but not abused) clothes, but the clothes were a hit! It's like we brought a Forever21 loot, they super loved the items! Their eyes were sparkling by just seeing the bag full of garments.
Look at this cutie, so excited to wear her new dress! ;)
My favorite bb girl. Maurice. Trying her full #ootd heehee
Here she is! Isn't she lovelyy?
Healthy Teeth Campaign 3.0!! :D
Maurice!!!
Such beauty.
First time I saw Maurice smile.

We felt like we're the one who helped, but it was us who was aided. Helped in a way that they made us realize the petty things that are regularly around us, matters a lot. That, living a simple and happy life in this world of technology and era of selfies is still, possible.

They showed us the true meaning of humility, we never felt that they have insecurities, they do not envy people having these awesomesauce gadgets because they never compare. Maybe because they don't have anyone else to compare what they have or do not have. They always give and share, food, laughter, care, and most especially, love.

Do something good for others, start now. :)
