Last night, I recharged my old phone to check old photos, messages which would tell how we were before as a couple. By reading back those old messages, I can say whether we fell more in love with each other or if we were better before, if things have changed and/or if the feelings are still here.
Guess what. We've been occupied by a lot of things now. Before, we used to send goodnight song lyrics and goodnight cheesy messages. Now, we can rarely do that anymore. Time spent with each other are lesser now but hey, we are now a little more mature compared to our 2013 selves.
I am happy, because even though a year passed, our feelings are still here. The petty problems before that are no more, our present that's never been this good - it's always good, and to the future that only the One can tell.
Well anyway, here's a shameless 2011 photo of us I found on my old phone. Don't judge our smiles, we were happy that time, really. Hahaha!

TFIOS Date
June 6, 2014, the boyfriend and I decided to watch a film titled, "The Fault in Our Stars". It's a film adoptation of John Green's book. (a little spoiler alert!) I've read the book just weeks before watching the movie and I must say that the book is better, of course I know that not alll scenes in the book should be also done in the movie, but I just feel that the movie lack some "feels". And the ending, why did they change the ending. The last 2 words are the most important! ANYWAY, this isn't supposed to be a movie review post, so moving on...
After office, we decided to meet at Robinson's Galleria, then ate at Sushi-Ya because I was craving for sushi that time. Happily, the boyfriend agreed to eat there even though he's never a fan of Japanese food.
We had our usual kulitan, lambingan, asaran of course! Then after eating, we went to Starbucks to have some coffee for the movies. This day is also remarkable for me because I found my favorite Starbucks branch evar! Haha! The one near the Cinemas of Robinson's Galleria! The baristas are extra friendly, not that annoying friendly type of Baristas, but the friendly type which makes you stay longer at the coffee claiming area because of the awesomeness of the people there! One barista asked if the boyfriend is a rocker because of his shirt, he said that he wants to be a rocker too but he was a dancer, his group dances tribal dance and he even did a sample! Haha! Isn't Mr. Barista nice? He handed us our coffee then me and the boyfriend kept on talking about how nice that branch is and I told him that that branch is now "our" I mean "my" favorite branch. After getting the coffee, we went to movies, then I cried then we went home.
Simple date, movies, food coma, coffee, laughters and endless stories. I just love spending days with my man. I hope we still do this until we're old. <3
P.S.
Sorry for the lack of photos
Much love,

We felt like we're the one who helped, but it was us who
was aided. Helped in a way that they made us realize the petty things that are
regularly around us, matters a lot. That, living a simple and happy life in this
world of technology and era of selfies is still, possible.
They showed us the true meaning of humility, we never
felt that they have insecurities, they do not envy people having these awesomesauce gadgets because they never compare. Maybe because they
don't have anyone else to compare what they have or do not have. They always
give and share, food, laughter, care, and most especially, love.
Do something good for others, start now. :)
Mamburao, Mindoro
One of the things that we love to do together is do community service. Luckily, our dear Club had this project at Mamburao, Mindoro and we got the chance to see the province's majestic beauty! :)
This isn't really a travel post because we just did this post-community service dip at the nearest beach (which I don't even know what the name is!) because we still have 3 hours before our trip back to Batangas / Manila.
I'll just insert some photos during our swimming, then on a separate post, will talk about the community service that I am talking about. ;)
Me and the boyfriend. :) |
